By William Shakespeare
Directed by Dawn McAndrews
Blood will have blood. Unbridled ambition, supernatural forces, and murderous desires reign supreme in Shakespeare’s poetic examination of evil.
When three witches tell Macbeth that he will become King of Scotland, he plots with his wife to attain the title through an assassination; a bloody act that gives him his crown and sends him
careening down the path of his own undoing in this thrilling account of how our minds deceive us and how a guilty conscience can undo us all.

Bridgton Public Library has a summer reading program for both youth and adult patrons. This year's theme is Leveling Up at Your Library, so we are incorporating various aspects from games, like Dungeons and Dragons, into our program. We have a reading log for adults and a packet for youth that includes areas where they can complete activities and work towards personal reading goals. As people progress in summer reading, they'll earn tickets to go towards raffle prizes.
We'll be starting off our Summer Program with a visit from Chewonki, a traveling education organization, learning more about vernal pools. Every week we'll also be having a different STEAM
activity put on by one of our library staff and a take home robotics program designed for middle and high school grades. We have a lot of ongoing programs that will continue through the summer
like our Friday morning story time, LEGO building, and finding our beloved toy mice's, Terry, and Jerry, around the library. Please let me know if you have any questions or would be interested in
some promotional materials.
