We will cover the following topics:

Maine’s homeschooling law

Record keeping

Curriculum planning

Helpful resources

Portfolios and evaluations

Support

Special needs

Q & A

And much more!

Upcoming Workshop Dates, Times and Locations

Workshops last approximately 2 hours, including a Q & A period and time to socialize! Pre-register for any date listed using the form at the bottom of this page. This workshop is FREE! However, donations to HOME’s ministry are always needed and appreciated.

Here's a comment from one of our past attendees:

"I attended the Getting Started workshop, along with my mom and daughter, and wanted to say thank you for everything you are doing to support and encourage homeschooling in Maine. God must be very pleased with your efforts on His behalf. The workshop couldn't have been any more affirming for me, and really brought my mom in on the big picture in a way I never could have done myself."

Pre-registration is required. Pre-registered attendees will receive a workshop packet upon arrival. Below is a registration form. Your form can be mailed or scanned by email.  Or register online! Contact the HOME Office with questions or for more information.
