Event Sponsor – Sponsoring HOME’s Annual Convention helps support HOME financially, while giving you maximum coverage during our three-day event and on into the rest of the year. This package includes a standard booth; 1/2 page ad in the annual HOME Digest; 1/2 page ad in the Beginner’s Handbook; 1/2 page ad in the Convention Program; printed material of your choice, which you provide for the Event Bag; an ad promoting you as the event sponsor on the HOME Table during the event; a link to your website from ours from the time you register until after the event.
Silent Auction – This is a fundraising event for HOME. Consider donating toward our silent auction, which is held during the Convention. To advertise your product/service, you may also include a business card or letter-sized poster for display, so bidders can associate you with your particular item. Donate an item or items of $100 or greater in value for an opportunity to provide Event Bag inserts free!
Event Bag – Include a single printed item (brochure, flyer, catalog, business card) into packets for each registered family. HOME does not have staff to verify the arrival of your package of bag inserts. Please track your shipments to HOME if you are concerned about their arrival. These bags will be available at Convention, Used Curriculum Sale & Expo, Getting Started Workshops and for those who visit the office throughout the coming year. This option is FREE for first time vendors with paid booth space!
Convention Program – Place an ad in our printed Convention program. One program is distributed to each family as they register. Each year, we anticipate handing out 400 of these programs to Convention goers.
Booth Space – Rent booth space in one of our exhibit halls during Convention. Vendors with a booth in the exhibit halls also have the option of being a vendor workshop presenter. Vendors who register by the Early Bird Deadline are guaranteed a company listing in the event program. All vendors will have a link to their website on HOME’s Convention Exhibitor List page. An additional discount for Interactive Children’s Activities is available to those who provide educational hands-on activities to Convention goers throughout the event.
Interactive Children’s Booths – These booths will provide interactive activities for children of all ages who are attending the Convention with their families. The activity must be ongoing throughout the event weekend. Please submit a brief description of your activity on the back side of your vendor registration form.
Vendor Workshop – A vendor workshop allows you an opportunity to share your product or service in greater detail. Vendor workshops run concurrently with Convention workshops each day at a cost of $55 (room seats approximately 75). A very limited number of 60 minute vendor workshops are available. These are assigned on a first come, first served basis, so please apply early. Full payment must be received to be considered. Request for vendor workshops will not be processed until all paperwork and payment have been submitted. The HOME Board will review all workshop descriptions and notify you upon approval. Only companies who have booth space in the Exhibit Hall are eligible to apply for a vendor workshop. The Samoset Resort does rent AV equipment if you have needs for your workshop presentation. Additional Attendees – HOME allows each vendor to have a total of two free attendees for the weekend. Any additional attendees, even if there will only be two on any given day, must pay the additional attendee fee.
Set Up – Vendors are expected to set up on Thursday prior to the event. The Exhibit Hall Coordinator will be available to assist with your arrival and set-up needs as early as 11:00 am on Thursday. The exhibit hall doors open to the public at 4:00 pm that day.
