Usborne Books: Usborne Books has a reputation for bringing the most exciting, engaging and educational children’s books to market. They are high quality, innovative and lavishly-illustrated and best of all they are the books kids love to read. The books are incredible simply because of the founder’s philosophy: “Children are clever – they are our equals. We shouldn’t talk down to them, but look across to them. Books should be friendly and as much like magnets as possible. They should be reliable and, stylish and artistic. They should be accessible, and also surprising and provocative. Books should help get you off your couch so you’re not just sitting watching TV and chewing gum. They should promote wondering. They should be better than good.” – Peter Usborne

At Boston Baptist College, we believe college should not simply be a time for mental growth, but also for spiritual growth. We believe education and biblical spirituality can and should walk hand-in-hand. For this reason, everything we do is carefully sifted through our institutional motto:

Cairn invites students to walk a different path.

A path that will challenge them, inspire them, and prepare them for life and work. One that is centered on Jesus Christ and the Word of God, one that will give them a broad perspective on the world that is engaging and purposeful, one that will change their life and take them in a direction that will make a difference in this world and the lives of those around them. We know these are important days. The need for men and women of character, who are biblically minded, well-educated, and professionally competent is great. We believe that a Cairn education prepares                                                                      graduates to meet that need. We believe this is a way worth traveling.

f you have ever enjoyed the scent of a rose, you’ve experienced the aromatic qualities of essential oils. These naturally occurring, volatile aromatic compounds are found in the seeds, bark, stems, roots, flowers, and other parts of plants. Essential oils provide plants with protection against environmental threats and play a role in plant pollination. In addition to their intrinsic benefits to plants and being beautifully fragrant to people, essential oils have long been used for food preparation, beauty treatment, and health-care practices.
