We know that marking this important milestone provides a great sense of accomplishment for graduates and their families in any given year. Seeing your success is also an encouragement for other homeschoolers to continue on through high school. In 2020, though, graduation has never seemed more important!

On June 20, 2020 at 1:00pm, HOME will provide a way to include and connect family and friends for special recognition of this year's high school graduates through a Zoom event. A video slide presentation of the graduates as they have grown up will be presented, as well as a special message from HSLDA Attorney Scott Woodruff.

The Crazy Verse: It is More Blessed to Give Than Receive 

As Paul was saying goodbye to the elders at Ephesus, he quoted Jesus and said "It is more blessed to give than receive."  Is it idealistic, impossible, over-the-top, unrealistic to say that giving is better than getting? Our ordinary daily lives down here on planet earth seem to teach us that in fact, getting is better than giving. Not so fast!  Maybe it is literally, really true. And maybe it matters right now.
