Fundraising Events

Homeschoolers of Maine relies on donations and fundraising events to continue to protect homeschool freedom, provide services and resources, and support homeschool families in Maine. YOU can help! Simply make plans to participate in the events below! 

Add community service to your curriculum! Teach your children the importance of giving back by involving them in a community service project to benefit HOME and Maine homeschoolers in need!

To celebrate the start of a new school year, we are auctioning off some fantastic field trip opportunities. Your family can visit a farm, go roller-skating, visit one of Maine's museums, or create your own field trip opportunity. There is lots of fun and learning to be done when you participate in HOME's Back to Homeschool Silent Auction!

Date: October 4 - 7, 2024

Time: Begins at noon on October 4th and ends at 8:00pm on October 7th.

Many local vendors will be represented at HOME's second annual HOME for the Holidays Craft Fair. Come out to support these crafters, as well as Homeschoolers of Maine, and get your Christmas shopping done at the same time!

Location: American Legion, 396 Eastern Ave., Augusta

There are a limited number of vendor spots available. Please fill out our vendor application to secure your spot!

Join other homeschool families in HOME's 2nd Annual Winter-Family-Read-A-Thon. You can participate as an individual or a family. Take the blah out of winter by cozying up with a good book. Prizes will be awarded to the top three fundraisers in this event. All proceeds benefit other homeschool families by offering support, materials and scholarships.

Date: January 1 - 31, 2025

Location: The comfort of your own home 

To participate, please fill out the 2025 Winter Family-Read-A-Thon form. You will receive a personalized link to send to friends and family members.

Donations to HOME have been abundant! HOME Inventory Clearance Sales provide an outstanding opportunity for you to find resources at VERY low prices. Be sure to join us for the next sale!
