G Suite for Education

Request a Code for Access!

Beginning in June 2018, G Suite for Education (GSfE), a collection of tools to develop critical thinking and communication skills, collaboration and creativity, became available for free to homeschool co-ops. Co-ops may gain access to the program by receiving a code from a participating homeschool association. Homeschoolers of Maine is able to assist you in gaining access to GSfE.

To be eligible, co-ops must meet the eligibility criteria for the program with Google. Co-ops must be nonprofit organizations in Maine (unless your state does not have a homeschool organization) providing services to students for two or fewer days a week.

  • Co-ops
  • Classical Conversations

Who is not eligible to use G Suite for Education?

  • Individual Family
  • Homeschool Support Groups (groups that don't involve students)

What if I am not eligible?

  •  For those who are not eligible, you can use your personal Google accounts to use Classroom and other Google products, or you can set up an account for your child.

What criteria must I meet to request a code from Homeschoolers of Maine?

  • Must be the leader of a homeschool co-op in Maine or another state that does not have an organization granting access to G Suite for Education
  • Must be non-profit
  • Must provide services to students 2 days or less per week
  • Must have a website domain for establishing a G Suite acount
  • Support HOME at a Subscriber Level or above.

*Once you receive your confirmation code from the Homeschoolers of Maine, follow the instructions in the email to sign-up for G Suite for Education.
